Angie Reed’s Hybrid Twilight

Sunday, July 19th, 2009

I must admit, I am a big fan of the Twilight series. I was encouraged to write my own vampire novel after reading the series. However, Hybrid is not Twilight revisted. They are vastly different stories of teen love and vampires. I enjoy Meyers’ writing style and wanted to capture the innocence of young love–even if vampires are involved!

Angie Reed’s paranormal romance Hybrid and suicide

Saturday, July 18th, 2009

While one of the main characters in Hybrid does attempt suicide, Emily is not successful in her attempts. I did not want to write a book where a teen was successful, however, I did want to bring the phenomena of teens and depression to light as this is a very serious problem affecting teens today. If you know a teen who is struggling, do not ignore the warning signs! www.angielreed.com. Order your copy of Hybrid today on amazon.com.

Hybrid sales are holding their own and I’m pleased that so many fans of teen vampire fiction are catching Hybrid fever! If you love paranormal fiction, then Hybrid might be for you.
